The short version: we count page views and note where visits come from. The long version is below, and it is not much longer.
What this site collects
Page views and where you arrived from. We use PostHog to understand which pages people read and which links — including answers from AI assistants — send them here. This site configures PostHog without cookies, click tracking, form tracking, or session recording. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.
AI crawlers
When an autonomous search or training crawler visits sediment.so, we record the crawler name and the path it requested. We do not store its full user-agent string, and we exclude retrieval agents that act directly for a person. Crawler requests to the documentation site are not included.
Hosting
Vercel serves this site and keeps standard server logs: IP addresses and request times. That is how web hosting works. We add nothing on top and do not use those logs to identify visitors.
The Contact link opens your own mail app; nothing is sent until you decide to send it. Email you send us is kept as ordinary correspondence. We do not share it or add you to any list.
